Children who are learning phonics will bring Read Write Inc books home every week to continue to practice their developing reading skills at home.  They will also bring home a reading for pleasure book that they have chosen from their class library for parents to share with them.  These books will be changed at least weekly.

Once they can read fluently, children regularly have the opportunity to visit the whole school library to chose a book to take home and share or they can select books from their class libraries. They are supported with their book choices.
