At Gretton Primary we have thought carefully about how to weave together all the subjects of the curriculum so that children enjoy the best of what has been thought and said and are able to make connections between the different disciplines of the curriculum.  

Our teachers plan children's learning carefully, logically sequencing when knowledge and skills will be taught, so that they are able to learn the curriculum well.  Our pedagogical approach, which involves, amongst other strategies, direct instruction, modelling and scaffolding and retrieval practice, ensures that children remember what they have learnt.
